From the Executive Director Lisa Hinton

This year’s Convention Theme –

Changing Lives One Fair At A Time – was so true about what each and every one of you do eve- ry day at your Fair. You are defi- nitely all “Super Heroes” as we celebrated at the Saturday night Gala!

You all continue to amaze me at your dedication and

commitment to your own Fair and also to the Federation. As you know with your own Fair, it wouldn’t happen without hours of volunteered time, a true commitment to help young people, and a pride in your community. The same is true for the Federation. The Convention absolutely would not hap- pen without support, time, and dedication from so many of you! While many of you do not get public recognition for what you do, you know who you are and you know that we couldn’t do it without you!

As we move forward into our upcoming year, we have a

busy summer with a visit to the State FFA Convention, Fair Trip 2018 to the California State Fair, our Summer Work- shop, and a visit to the State 4-H Congress. Hope you will consider participating in as many of these opportunities as you can!

Many of you are also starting to “gear up” for your Fall

Fair – GOOD LUCK! We know what a busy time this is for you!

Hope you all have a great Summer! Thanks again for all your support and don’t forget – YOU

are the Federation and WE are a “Fair Family!” Lisa Hinton, CFE, Executive Director
