TheRe has been a reorganisation of Physio and Parkinson’s nurse services locally, so at our June meeting we were introduced to Angie Sheehan and Amy Vallis who are part of the team, who should all be in place by the end of the
summer, and will look after the needs of Parkinson’s patients in the local area. Our meeting in July will
be a trip out on the Waveney Stardust followed by lunch. Let’s hope the sun shines!

PAUL Wright and nikki married on the Saturday 2nd June at St Peters Church, Yoxford. nikki was given away by her daughter Maicy, and the groom’s son Brandon was best man. Alisha Giles, the bride’s niece, was bridesmaid, Logan Wright as young page boy and Rhys Giles
acting as usher. Following the ceremony a reception was held in sunshine at Stratford St Andrew with family and friends to whom we give many thanks for all their help and support in making it such a special and memorable day.

Custodian of Charities, the current holder of the title deeds of the site, is actively supporting the transfer and working closely with hCSL’s solicitor. The transfer is expected to be completed sometime next month and then hCSL will really be up and running. From the time that WDC stopped providing financial support to the hPFA, there has been little or no investment in the facilities at the Dairy hill site. however, anybody passing the site recently may have seen a lot of activity. Rubbish and the overgrown areas around the site’s perimeter have been cleared, brushwood removed and the pavilion has been repainted. Inside the showers and changing rooms are being rebuilt to modern standards and the lighting modernised and greatly improved. This would not have been possible without the generous support of some local suppliers and the voluntary work of many cheerful volunteers. halesworth Town Football
club has ambitions to join the Thurlow nunn League. This ambition and the changes that are being implemented have helped hTFC attract many new members. This coming football season the club will, in addition to the Senior Team, be running a reserve team. Also, it is planned to introduce a team to bridge the gap between Junior and Senior Football. At a junior level the club has
been very successful in attracting enough juniors so as to have three Junior Teams for next season, two teams at under 8 and one at under 7. It looks promising for next season also for the under 5’s, due to there being a very
good attendance at training on a Monday night. There is still space for a few additional under 7’s (School year 1’s) for next season. It is our aim to try to provide opportunities for junior boys and girls to join-in, even if it’s just for training. The pitches look in excellent condition and are ready for the new season. A special thanks must go to the groundsman for producing such a good playing surface under difficult conditions. A date for your diary - August
5th - “A Junior Football Fun Day at Dairy hill”. For more information contact junior secretary Kathryn Bullen at h a l e swo r t h t own j u n i o r s@
