A man and his wife were driv- ing their Recreational

Vehicle across the country and were nearing a town spelled Kissimee.

This Ale was smooth and crisp with an International Bittering Unit (IBU) of 25, not too bitter and dry and not too sweet with a ABV of 5.2%. Most Belgians have a sweeter taste of fruit but this one is smooth.

The next beer was “Dad’s

Pants”. A German Style Pilsner with an IBU of 45 and ABV of 5.4%. This pilsner is brewed clean and crisp. With a light straw-color that stands out. The Brew-Master notes that this is a

was rocket fuel! Barrel-aged for two years, with additional sugar added during the fermen- tation which brings the ABV to 20%. With the high alco- hol, there is a full-mouth feel, and has a sweet taste like Port. Since it has such a long process to make, “Bamboozelry” might not be around for long. We rounded out our tastings with two sours. “Black Velvet Sour Por- ter’ and ‘Leather- bound Books” are two sours. Sour beers are like fine wines, they im- prove as they age. “Black

tantalizing hop aromas, and a full malty backbone that all IPA fans must try.

“March Fadness” is a New England style hazy IPA.

more of an East Coast IPA. Most West Coast IPAs are extra bitter, and with this beer having an IBU of 35 and an ABV of 6.4%. it makes this more palat- able for your “not quite diehard IPA fans”. The beer that stood out for me was “Bamboozelry”.

One of the ven- dors was Big Sky Brewing Company, started by Neal Leathers, Bjorn Nabozney, and Brad Robinson. BIG SKY BREWING CO is located in Missoula, Montana. Their beer was quite tasty and two of the people hosting the tap at the Fair agreed to be in Up- beat Times! They noted the strange spelling and tried to figure how to pronounce it - KISS-a- me; kis-A-me; kis-a-ME. They grew more perplexed as they drove into the town. Since they were hungry, they pulled into a place to get something to eat. At the counter, the man said to the waitress: “My wife and I can’t seem to be able to figure out how to pronounce this place. Will you tell me where we are and say it very slowly so that I can understand.”

The waitress looked at him and said: “Buuurrrgerrr Kiiiinnnng.”
