len. In a series of solos, du- ets, and ensemble pieces, the sounds of the shakuhachi will honor the ongoing rebirth of the North Bay and beyond fol- lowing the devastating fires of 2017. Special guest musi- cians will join in for this rare opportunity to showcase the versatility and haunting beauty of the shakuhachi as both an instrument of Zen meditation and an incredibly expressive instrument in modern music.
