Launch of Chamber Business Awards
The Chamber’s Business Awards 2018 were officially launched at this year’s Love Business Expo. Only the Chamber’s awards offer
winners a chance to compete in regional and national heats of the British Chambers of Commerce Awards. The Chamber’s Business Awards 2017 were hugely successful, with R.E.A.L Education and iCON Aerospace Technology winning the Education and Business Partnership award and High Growth Business of the Year award respectively for the BCC East Midlands region. Retford- based iCON Aerospace Technology then went on to win the national BCC High Growth Business of the Year award.

CHAMBER ANNUAL DINNER 2018 – LAST CHANCE
Radio presenter Justin Webb will be one of the keynote speakers at this year’s Chamber Annual Dinner. Justin currently spends his mornings grilling British politicians and news-makers as a presenter on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme. Also speaking will be the Rt Hon
Nicky Morgan, MP for Loughborough and Chair of the Treasury Select Committee. The Chamber's Annual Dinner is
one of the most prestigious black-tie business events in the East Midlands. With over 600 guests from
businesses in the region expected, the dinner provides a fantastic platform to raise profile and network with some of the most influential business leaders in the area. The event will be held at the
Roundhouse, Derby, on 22 March, starting with a welcome drinks reception at 6.30pm.
