The Stirling and District Branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild is a friendly and welcoming group of people who enjoy the craft of embroidery and textile related subjects. Why not
come along and join us for interesting talks from visiting speakers on subjects related to textiles? We also have sewing afternoons and evenings when we love to share our enthusiasm with anyone wishing to develop or extend their skills in any technique.
If you enjoy stitching and meeting with like-minded friends, we meet on the third Wednesday of the month from 7.15 to 9.30 pm at the Smith Art Gallery and Museum, Albert Place, Stirling. We are 1 of 180 branches nationwide of the Embroiderers’ Guild, an educational charity for the benefit of stitch and textile

Jog Scotland has come to Dunblane !
The fun, friendly jogging groups are perfect for people who want to get active for the first time, or maybe more experienced runners returning who want to exercise in a sociable, supportive environment. Nobody is “too slow” to join Jog Scotland, and nobody gets left behind!
The Jog Scotland sessions are organised in association with Dunblane Runners, the local Scottish Athletics affiliated club. Sessions are led by a Jog Scotland qualified leader.
Jog Scotland is for everyone – there are groups for joggers and runners of all levels, from complete beginners to long-distance runners. Beginner sessions include a combination walking and easy jogging, with a gradual increase in jogging as fitness and confidence begin to build. Within 20 weeks of starting as a complete beginner, most people are able to run 5K (three miles).
Jogscotland is suitable for healthy adults, a large number who have taken up jogging for the first time later in life, and those who are getting active to help them lose weight. Whatever your age, shape, size or fitness level, you will be made welcome!
Dunblane Jog Scotland sessions meet at the entrance to Dunblane Hydro gym at 6pm on Mondays and Thursdays, and last about an hour. Just come along – no need to book.
You can get in contact with us via the Dunblane Runners website
www.dunblanerunners.co.uk or find us on Facebook under Dunblane Runners.
