Scott & Aly have lived in Dunblane for almost 20 years and have a very keen interest in the town, going back many years. Aly was a partner in setting up “Charisma” in the High Street in 2006, which continues to provide an excellent service to the town.
In late 2011, an opportunity for starting a new business came their way. Things moved very quickly, and they opened “The Wheel Specialist’ for business in June 2012, and haven’t looked back since!
Off ering market leading service, and fi rst class quality, they cover the Stirling, Alloa and Falkirk areas, as well as Airdrie Coatbridge and Northern areas of Glasgow. Operating from premises in Cumbernauld they are a short drive from all areas they cover. They now have 7 staff , and refurbish several thousand wheels per year and have won several awards for their work & customer service.
Scott said “Aly and I have always run the business together, but were delighted when our son Mark joined the business at the end of 2016. He works in all areas of the business, but focuses on Sales and Marketing, particularly managing our social media activity.
We often collect and deliver customers’ cars from the Dunblane, Bridge of Allan and Stirling areas, just to make life a little easier for customers. We used Scott to repair two alloys on our Mini and the end fi nish was excellent. We were very pleased with the whole experience, prompt attention and completed on time. I have used the Wheel Specialist over the past 5 years on a number of occasions to refurbish alloy wheels on 2 Toyota RAVs, a Toyota Landcruiser, my son’s Vauxhall Vectra and my wife’s MX-5. All of the above vehicles, with the exception of the MX-5, perhaps, have been put to ‘rigorous work’. The degree of preparation, subsequent powder coating and painting process is technologically impressive and the fi nish achieved from ‘tired’ wheels has been superb at a price which no other organisation I know of has come close to matching for this quality.
