ONE FOR DUANE Buffalo,
Just wanted to shoot you a few lines about the
One For Duane IV Benefit for the Southern Rock Hall of Fame. I met you that day and was proud to shake your hand and attend the celebration. I am a long time music freak/fan/lover and a free lance music re- viewer/writer and wrote for
Raleighmusic.com for years. I was lucky enough to cover local, regional and national acts performing in the Triangle. I would like to say thank you for all of your efforts to establish the Southern Rock Hall of Fame. For caring enough about Southern rock music and the artists that bring and have brought it to all of us. I get it, dude. Those bands truly do deserve a special place of their own. I really appreciate all that Don Eason and Idlewild South does to celebrate Duane Allman, as well as their dedication to keeping the music of the Allman Brothers alive. The guys are truly devoted to the cause. Kudos also to Triple Fret, The Night Shades, Harvey Dalton Arnold and all the special guests who took us to "church" that Sunday afternoon. I know it wasn't a huge crowd , but I do hope a little something went in the collection plate for the Southern Rock Hall of Fame.

UNDER THE FULL MOON Buffalo,
My wife and I had the greatest time at the Full
Moon Festival, and the highlight for me was sitting around wit the group listening to your stories andim- pressions. You had us all laughing so hard I thought I was gonna pull a muscle in my side! The music was great and we loved the Silver Travis Band a lot, espe- cially when you sang with them!They were by far the best band that day, although there were no bad ones at all! My wife said Gary Rossington was on stage that night. I say no. Who is right? Great meeting you finally, and hug thanks to
