Visit Bucks County September 19, 2017 – Hamilton Township, NJ Visit Bucks County hosted their annual ‘Event Venue Show,’ a meeting planner focused event at the Grounds for Sculpture. A total of 35 venues and facilities exhibited, showcasing Bucks County and the region’s venues to approximately 70 meeting planners from both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Attendees enjoyed networking and learned more about these unique meeting venues while sampling cuisine from Starr Catering Group and local Bucks County wine at the stunning sculpture park. Keeping the true spirit of the venue alive, guests met a living statue performer from Creative Juice Group as well as “Penny the Peacock” as they roamed the wings of the museum. While touring the event, attendees were encouraged to have exhibitors initial their Artist Palette Passports. This was a successful ice- breaker implemented by Eventive Productions to spark conversation.

Some businesses exhibiting were Newtown Athletic Club, Washington Crossing Historic Park, James A. Michener Museum, The Fuge, Rose Bank Winery, Peddler’s Village, Logan Inn and Lambertville Station Inn. The Sheraton Bucks County, Radisson Northeast and Crowne Plaza are all full-service, which bring in larger bookings.

“Showcasing beautiful Bucks County and bringing meeting planners and our venues together to make meaningful connections is what this event is all about,” said Jenna Worrell, Business Development and Events Coordinator for VBC, who planned the evening. “I eagerly await to see how our attendees will use Bucks County’s beautiful hidden gems for their next off-site meetings and events!”

Teeming with cultural and historical venues, including concrete castles, mansions, charming wineries, rustic inns and full-service hotels, Bucks County offers a diverse collection of local spaces for corporate meet- ings, board retreats, team building events and every- thing in between.
