Brought to you by Waterland Media in association with Lonza

& Scene and new for this year - in conjunction with The Hot Tub Club www.ukpoolandspaawards.co.uk Hot Tub & Swim Spa Scene 3

The Hot Tub and Swim Spa magazine team has been very busy over the summer months, undertaking an extensive tour of shops, shows and showroom sites all over the UK.

Excitingly, we are hearing reports of sales being up between 20 and 30 per cent across the board. Swim spas in particular, after 20 years, appear to be attracting sustained interest. Other winners this season, and at last attracting their deserved attention, include the Covana automated cover lift system and the O-Care spa treatment range.

What is noticeable is how the value of projects are increasing across the board. No longer plug and play, ‘hot tub on a patio’ sale – customers are looking for complete garden makeovers and outdoor living designs.

With new retailers springing up, we welcome the latest addition to the Hydropool family as Hydropool Cheltenham share their fi rst hot tub successes. Meanwhile, the more established Hydropool Devon give us the low down on their latest swim spa project.

We investigate the value of showrooms in one of our extended features this issue, Keeping It Real and hear from the many teams reaping the rewards of the buoyant second-hand hot tub sector in Pre-Loved Tubs. Spatex’s Service Manager, Carl Priest, is October’s featured Spa Star and we check out the liveliest conversations from the recent batch of social media posts.

We hope you enjoy reading this month’s edition of Hot Tub and Swim Spa Scene, we would love to hear from you, so please keep in touch and tell us your news and views.

Take Care,
