With this mission statement, Niveko puts customers fi rst. Clients such as a Belgian couple who wanted to replace an area of their garden with an under-used fi sh pond, with a new swimming pool for relaxing and for keeping in shape. “We visited several retailers, but the company that appealed to us the most was the Niveko from Ideal Pool, which is based not far from us,” commented Mr Van den Bossche. He and his wife chose to a Niveko pool with an elegant skimmer pool solution with increased water level reaching almost to the pool edge. Formerly a corporate headquarters, a large country house in Ascot, Berkshire is being transformed back into a residential use with its swimming pool as the focal point. Englemere House served as the head offi ce for Chartered Institute of Building since for 30 years. Berkeley Homes is overseeing its return to residential use and tasked Aqua Platinum Projects with providing a suitably high-quality outdoor pool with automatic safety cover.
“The main aspects of the pool are the stainless-steel fi ttings and bespoke skimmers throughout. There are also 7m wide automatic safety covers and a top-level fi ltration system,” explains Aqua Platinum’s Dominic Searle.
“The size of the pool alone makes it stand out from the crowd, and its beautiful locale made this a great build, but not without its challenges.”
