Kingsdown Spotlights Promotionally-Priced Prime Collection By Christopher Schriever

Building on a successful summer introduc- tion, Kingsdown is showcasing its premium Prime Collection at the fall High Point Mar- ket. The collection takes advantage of the company’s design and manufacturing prow- ess to deliver a wealth of mattress innovation for less than $1,000 in queen. Known for offering luxury sleep products with support developed through extensive research, Kingsdown designed the Prime Collection to give retailers a quality prod- uct to promote at aggressive price points. Priced to retail at $599, $799 and $999 in queen, the line-up is available in firm, plush and pillow top designs and features an ar- ray of high-end components and materials. “The successful launch of the Prime Col- lection confirmed for us the appetite retailers have for well-made, promotable mattresses and these beds deliver without sacrificing

our quality and great design we’re known for,” said Frank Hook, CEO of Kingsdown. “We knew we had to show this strong collection in High Point for those retailers who didn’t make it to the summer market. These beds are that good.” Each mattress in the Prime Collection is made with a high coil count—1,008-coil density for queen—tri-zoned wrapped coils for lumbar support, cooling gel and Serene Comfort Foam, a non-temperature respon- sive foam that provides support, reduces pressure and dissipates body heat. A latex lumbar support zone adds resiliency and sup- port for the lower back. The Prime Collection features classic styling, including an on-trend border panel in contrasting shades of gray and a diamond pattern in deep charcoal with platinum accents. Visit kingsdown.com

Sleepwell’s new Latex Foam line delivers contouring comfort with layers of 100% Talalay latex in addition to an array of high quality foams. Instead of a conventional zip- pered, covered design, this new collection is comprised of quilted mattresses. This construction incorporates additional quilt- ing for added comfort and handles for eas- ier movement of the mattress. It is the first foam encased latex bed to provide addition- al edge support.
