“Looking to offer more than just stain and warranty protection, PureCare set out to develop a protector that ensured a cleaner sleep environment. Working in a close relationship with Hologenix, PureCare was the first company to offer mattress protectors with Celliant.”

PureCare Offers Wide Range Of Products Made With FDA-Approved Celliant Fibers By Gretchen Kast PureCare received a big push for its Celliant performance fiber products when the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) deter- mined that Hologenix’ Celliant fibers are reg- ulated as both “medical devices” and “general wellness products.” Products that incorporate Celliant performance fibers, containing in- frared emitting ceramic particles, are now able to legally claim that the fibers promote increased localized blood flow, thereby in- creasing energy and speeding muscle recov- ery. There is no doubt that this recent deter- mination will significantly enhance interest in the product lines by PureCare that feature Celliant performance fibers.

“Celliant fibers are providing the best per- formance technology in bedding today,” said Sean Bergman, PureCare chief marketing officer. “PureCare has a complete line of pre- mium sheets, pillows and mattress protectors featuring Celliant performance fibers in stock and ready to be sold in retail stores tomorrow. You can truly offer your customer products of the highest quality and construction and in- telligent designs that promote a cleaner and healthier sleep environment, while providing them the best in performance bedding.” Since 2010, PureCare has focused on en- hancing the health and wellness of the sleep environment through the use of technology and technical textiles. Looking to offer more than just stain and warranty protection, Pure- Care set out to develop a protector that en- sured a cleaner sleep environment. Working in a close relationship with Hologenix, Pure- Care was the first company to offer mattress protectors with Celliant. “We have been working with Celliant now for seven years and have really mastered how to incorporate the technical textile into our products,” said Jeff Bergman, PureCare

president and COO. “I was familiar with Cel- liant from the mattress business as it had been used there previously. We thought that if it functioned well in a mattress, imagine how much more effective it would be if we could make any mattress into a Celliant-en- ergized bed.”

Since then, PureCare has incorporated Celliant performance fiber across three dif- ferent product categories: mattress and pil- low protectors, sheet sets and pillows. The PureCare Celliant 5-Sided Mattress and Pil- low Protectors are priced to retail at $119. Each of these protector products not only of- fers premium protection from allergens, dust mites and mold and mildew, but also clinically tested recovery benefits from Celliant perfor- mance fibers. Retailing for $269, the Pure- Care Elements Lumen Celliant Sheet Sets is the first premium linen collection with a superb fit, feel and finish to feature Celliant performance fibers. Finally, PureCare offers a collection of nine different PureCare Body Chemistry Pillows that also feature Celliant. Ranging in retail price from $89 to $169, the collection includes latex, memory foam, down, down alternative and the exclusive, patent-pending SoftCell and SoftCell Select pillow options. “Our Celliant program is not just one

item. In all these products, we are using technology that is clinically tested to en- hance the wellness of our consumers,” said Sean Bergman. “This FDA designation helps our retailers and our consumers un- derstand the true benefits of Celliant per- formance fibers. We were always ahead of the curve with this ‘tip of the spear tech- nology.’ Now we are just excited that more people will take advantage of the true ben- efits Celliant provides.” Visit
