New President “Roars” into Action in the Teulada – Moraira Lions Club The Teulada – Moraira Lions club held a lovely celebration last month when Lion Brian Clarke officially took over as President of the club for the coming Lions year 2017/2018.
The party was held at Brian and Patricia’s lovely villa in Moraira where the club members and their partners gathered on a beautiful afternoon to celebrate Brian’s official take over. Dr. Nico Dekkers, the club’s senior member and past President officiated by presenting Brian with his chain of office and the club’s past Presidents then gathered for a photo and a chance to congratulate President Brian on his new position. Brian gave a short but heartwarming and encouraging speech on fostering harmony and friendship in the club and looked forward to a great year ahead focusing on helping the disadvantaged in our local community.
