FF - Over 1000 distribution points! Accessorise with Sunglasses

Sunglasses are an ideal accessory, whether to create a fashionable look or to be able to drive your car without having trouble seeing the road in bright, sunny conditions. At Direkt Optik, we have a range of solutions, from a selection of Polaroid sunglasses to sunglasses created especially for you (including prescription sunglasses) by choosing your frame and tinted lenses.

Lens options to best suit your needs UV-protection Regardless of the style, the most important thing is that your sunglasses protect your eyes from the sun’s harmful rays. All our sunglasses feature UV-protection. Sunglasses that can be purchased off the shelf usually feature a sticker stating UV- 360 or UV-400.

Colours Grey – the advantage of grey-coloured lenses is that they barely change the colours of what you are looking at. Brown – brown-coloured lenses filter the blues from the colour spectrum. Blue light reflects on flat surfaces creating glare. They give a calmer image and improved contrast. Orange-brown – these lenses have a better red factor, allowing you to see traffic and headlights better. They also offer better contrast than brown lenses and show depth better. Gradient This type of lens is often used in sunglasses for their fashionable look.

Polarised lenses We have probably all experienced glare in our everyday environment ... perhaps by the pool or at the beach when the light strikes the reflective surface of the water, or in a car when sunshine reflects off the dashboard or the road. Normal tinted sunglasses cannot prevent glare – only polarised lenses allow you to see comfortably because they block glare. When we are outdoors, we are literally surrounded by reflections and glare. When we wear polarised spectacles, our vision improves more than it would if we simply shielded ourselves from dangerous glare. Our perception of colour and depth of field improves, as does the sharpness and contrast of the object viewed. Depending on the colour you choose for your polarised lenses, your perception of colour and depth of field may be enhanced even further.
