Knowing that Spain is such a vast country, we know that many of you are likely to be planning a road trip to explore a bit more of the culture that our adopted home has to offer. A good road trip can be a fantastic way of seeing some of the more remote areas whilst taking in the scenery and even stopping off en route to your final destination.
So you have decided on your final destination, what next?
Firstly get your approximate route planned out and choose your selected means of navigation. You can never really beat having a good old fashioned paper map (and indeed you should really have one as a back up if you choose to use Sat Nav), but these days most people will use some form of Digital Navigation. Familiarise yourself with your device, check through the route that your Sat Nav has chosen and add your points of interest along the way.
So you now know where you are going, you know how you are going to get there, what else could you possibly need? When we were all a little younger, we probably didn’t even bother with step 1, let alone anything else – a proper adventure as it were.
