Gandia Area Social Club (International) Put More Life In Your Life With The GASC!!
The club has been in existence for 30 years plus (!) but has grown in strength in every way in the last few years.
We hold monthly Dinner Dances with live (high class) entertainment at the Viva España Restaurant on the N-332 in Oliva. Apart from the music nights we have monthly quiz and dinner evenings and weekly sporting activities, badminton, walking, hiking, petanque and trips away.
There are always lots of good things happening to enjoy in the GASC!
Thursday 21st September - Dine & Dance with Tamla Motown and Soul Night with Melvin Gallant. Thursday 19th October - Dine & Dance with Showaddywaddy Legend.
Thursday 16th November - Back by popular demand: ABBA Elite. Surely the club has never had such a wonderful reaction to entertainers for a Dinner Dance. Thursday 14th December - Christmas Party - A Spectacular Evening with Angie Lang.
As ever, all are welcome. Membership is only 7€ per year but non-members are welcome, too. Please see our website:
www.gandiaareasocialclub.com especially the What's On page.
To book events please email:

Full steam ahead for model rail enthusiasts!
Do you remember when you were a youngster having fun with model railways?
Well, here is your chance to relive those golden days and join like-minded enthusiasts.
A group of local model railway fans is setting up a new society here in the Marina Alta and they would like to hear from fellow modellers in the area.
All nationalities will be welcome to join in and help get the new club established.
A top priority will be to find suitable accommodation for a reasonable rent, so if anyone knows of possible venues, please let organiser and railway enthusiast Ross Ord know - a trastero or small taller would be perfect, ideally of 100 to 150 m².
Ros Ord is calling on anyone interested to join the group.
“Come along and relive your boyhood dreams! We already have several layouts looking for somewhere to live and be enjoyed,” says Ross. “If you are interested please phone me on 96 647 1939 for a friendly chat or email
rdodeo@gmail.com”.
In Moscow, stray dogs have learned to commute from the suburbs to the city. They reach the city, scavenge for food, then catch the train home in the evening.
