when they will begin the build-up to what is promising to be a busy Christmas programme. They welcome new members, particularly tenors. Further information can be obtained from Mike Evans on 96 574 4577 or cbmalevoicechoir@gmail.com.

Now in its tenth year, the Stage Diary is not only an important guide to what’s on in all regions, but is also an on-line web introduction to potential expats researching community life in Spain. The diary also acts as a planning guide to assist groups avoid unnecessary clashes of production dates.

Cantabile Ladies Choir: After two successful concerts the choir are rehearsing music from around the world for the autumn concert, during the week 18th to 26th November. Despite the summer break, many of the choir will meet in groups to

learn their parts. They are always looking for new members. Contact valbeange@gmail.com or phone 96 679 5816. The Choir meet at La Siesta Church on Friday afternoons from 2.45pm to 5pm from September to June.

If anyone is interested in joining this all ladies choir, singing Gershwin, Carpenters, madrigals and musical theatre, contact musical director Aileen on 696 514 613 or email aileen2light@gmail.com.

Careline Theatre: The autumn production is ‘Nil by Mouth’ by John Chapman, directed by Dennis Arthurs. This hilarious farce is set in a mixed ward of an under- funded and under-staffed NHS hospital (impossible, you say). With mistaken identities, wrongful diagnoses, visitors becoming

patients and all manner of medical mishaps, laughter will be the best tonic. Dates are 19th to 21st October. Box Office opens in September.

Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir: After the busiest and most successful season ever, the choir is now taking a break until September,
