Lymphoedema Index machine donated by Cancer Care Jávea
Cancer Care Jávea are delighted to announce that due to the amazing support of our clients, customers, donors, friends and volunteers, we have been able to spend 9,500€ on a Lymphoedema Index machine to donate to Lisa Todd. Lisa is a highly qualified Therapist and Lymphoedemist who works in the MABS unit at the IMED hospital in Teulada.
Lymphoedema is a condition that can occur any time following
cancer treatment in both men and women,
especially breast cancer. This machine can predict the early onset of lymphoedema. Early detection of lymphoedema is critical to aid successful treatment.
This facility is available to everyone. Lisa is available on 637 144 595.
