Travelling back to the UK this Summer, then Vault is for you!
We’ve all been there, travelling to the UK and need to pay for something, or just get access to cash, and then get stung by terrible exchange rates.
The headline rate may look good, but in reality you lose due to FX rates, bank charges in UK and in Spain. Then there is convenience, which bank? How much will the store charge me? Well hopefully we can solve some travel money issues for you.
VAULT is a new, multi-currency pre-paid payment debit card from deVere and powered by an International known card provider and Barclays Bank. But it’s more than that, it’s actually an electronic wallet so you have an app on your iPhone or Android device, where you can top up with as little or as much as you want, and then with a tap, convert from Euros into Sterling (or Swiss Francs or US Dollars). The exchange rate is super close to the market spot rate so you’re not losing out.
After applying for your account and setting it up, you load money onto the card either from a debit card or bank transfer. You can also receive money from family and friends
straight into your virtual account known as “Vault to Vault”. Then it’s yours to spend via the payment card anywhere in the world that supports this card provider and that’s an awful lot of places. You get realtime notifications so it’s great for example if you have a son or daughter at university in the UK and you need them to be spending your cash responsibly. Security is a huge issue nowadays and by only loading a certain amount of money, you’re risk of a card being stolen or cloned is no more than that on the card’s account at any one time, though with the security controls built into the app, someone else will find it virtually impossible to use the card. In less than 30 seconds, you can simply disable the card entirely. Now that’s real peace of mind. Oh, and if you find the card you simply switch it back on.

The check to get started is straight forward - you just need to prove who you are and where you live, as with all banks. The app will guide you through the few simple steps to give you exchange rate and card peace of mind, before you get on the plane back home! This is the future of banking!!
