MS POLARLYS
‘Polarlys’ is Norwegian for ‘polar light’, the special Arctic phenomenon you experience on a journey with us during winter. MS Polarlys was refurbished in 2016 and now features a modern, Arctic-inspired interior. Our on-board expedition team presents interesting lectures during the entire voyage. Learn more about the nature, culture and history of the places we encounter. You can also take part in ‘live’ on-deck sessions about points of interest as we pass them. The expedition team also leads ‘friluftsliv’ (outdoor) activities and hikes at the various coastal sites we visit. On board, you can dine in three different restaurants, or indulge yourself at the Multe Bakery and Ice Cream Bar. The ship also has a fitness room and sauna. Out on deck, you can soak in the views from one of two Jacuzzis. A cosy bar at the front of the ship is a nice place to enjoy a traditional drink. MS Polarlys has a large lobby where you find the reception, a tour guide, conference room and shop.
