Magic Polar Night 8F We dock at Mehamn in the middle of the night, but do not close your eyes just yet. Keep them wide open, dress warmly and get out into the polar night. We off er an unforgettable snowmobile trip through one of Europe’s most extreme and fascinat- ing natural areas.
The Arctic Cathedral 8C We dock in Tromsø in time to enjoy an unmissable midnight concert at the architecturally unique Arctic Cathedral. Alternatively, you can visit some of the town’s many pubs and restaurants. Few cities in Norway can boast of a better nightlife. Be sure to try the local brew ‘Mack’, the city’s pride and joy.

Fjords and prawns In spring, we sail through the beautiful Lyngenf ord. With the wild and rugged Lyngen Alps as a backdrop, this is one of Norway’s most beautiful f ords. While cruising the f ord, you can enjoy a taste of local, freshly caught prawns out on deck.

Founded in 1789, Hammerfest is also home to the UNESCO-listed Meridian Column, erected in 1854 to commemorate the fi rst precise measurement of the globe.
