SPECIAL VOYAGES 12 days BERGEN – KIRKENES – BERGEN

Astronomy Voyage

Gain unique insights and knowledge about the Arctic sky and the greatest lightshow on Earth, the Aurora Borealis, on this voyage along the mes- merising Norwegian coast. Dates for these special Astronomy voyages have been carefully selected to depart during the peak of the Northern Lights season and at times of the new moon; all so that you can focus on the Arctic aurora above and its star-studded backdrop.

ITINERARY Day 1-12: After your flight to Bergen, this voyage follows the full Hurtigruten coastal route. See pages 26–49 to read the full description of everything you will experience on this journey.

Exclusive visit to the planetarium On day 5 of your 12-day Astronomy voyage, your lecturer will take you on an exclusive visit to the planetarium at the Science Centre in Tromsø. You'll enjoy an impressive show about the polar sky in the Arctic; about its stars and about phenomena like the awe-inspiring Aurora Borealis.

Northern Lights Promise We're so confi dent that the Northern Lights will occur during your 12-day voyage, that we've made a Northern Lights Promise to you which states that if the ship doesn't get to see the aurora, we'll give you a 6 or 7-day voyage FREE OF CHARGE. See pages 56-57.
