King crab expedition in Kirkenes 7H
Catch and eat the king crab. With an experi- enced fi sherman, you travel by RIB-boat and pull up the crabs yourself, before you prepare a delicious meal in an old traditional boathouse.

A hotel made of snow 7D If you are here in winter, we recommend a visit to the Kirkenes Snowhotel. Snow is actually a very good insulator, so when it drops to minus thirty degrees Celsius outside, the interior of the Snowhotel remains at a stable minus four degrees. Each room is decorated with beautiful sculptures of ice and snow and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable night. Your mattress is well insulated, and your Arctic sleeping bag will keep you warm and cosy.
WHAT TO SEE
Kirkenes, not far from the Russian border, is Hurtigruten’s turning point. Enjoy panoramic views from the lounge as we sail into the last port before turning around and starting our journey south.
