In particular we would like to thank those who have sought our assistance and given permission for us to quote their experience using their own words. Direct quotes are indicated by quotation marks. Pseudonyms are used to preserve individual privacy. Where we have reproduced general statements we frequently hear we have not used quotation marks.


We also acknowledge the wide range of different organisations and workers who have contributed valuable services and resources to support those dealing with the effects of childhood sexual abuse.
