ASM; How do you feel when you see so many of your players now making it in Europe and contributing greatly to the national team?
MK; I feel good and I think they deserve the praise because they have been working hard everyday, there’s no magic in football I have seen it all. You cannot improve if you fail to work hard. Of course FC Kallon did these players a lot of good by taking them to Europe but they surely deserve it. Mohamed Poborsky Bangura, Ibrahim Tet- teh Bangura, Khalifa Jabbie and all the other players from my team playing in Europe have one thing in common, that is their desire to get better. Sierra Leoneans have been seeing their seriousness and improvements whenever they come home to play for our darling Leone Stars.
ASM: Some people have said that because FC Kallon are creating opportunities in Europe for so many youngsters, there will come a time when the national team will wholly consist of FC Kallon stars. What do you say to that?
MK; Well former FC Kallon players are already the majority in the national team now, but I do not think that is an issue. Let’s just pray that the country continues to have very good footballers and that is all that really matters. Where they came from is not an issue to me.
