Fabio Capello must be commended for blooding young players such as Jack Rodwell, and Kyle Walker and using Danny Welbeck whose hold up play up front was very impressive. However I won- der if he had given some of these youngsters a chance last year before the World Cup if things would have been different.


Beating Spain in a friendly is not quite the same as beating them in the quarterfinal or Semi Final of a major tournament. As much as England are trying to get their feel good factor, Spain is still the bench mark and the team to beat in any major tournament at the moment not just because of their results and achievements so far but the fact that the this Spanish team is a young team that has the potential to dominate football for the next decade just like Brazil did in the 60s up till 1970. The problem with England is that there is just too much hype and pressure heaped on the players and everyone suddenly things in England that they could be
