NEW APPOINTMENTS AT CONSENSE AS BUSINESS CONTINUES TO BOOM


Suffolk based online consultation and community engagement specialist, Consense, has recently appointed Elma Glasgow as Business Development Manager, Daniel Brown as Account Executive, and Mark Fox as Senior Account Manager.

Based in London, Elma will play a key role in developing Consense’s client base across a range of sectors by illustrating the many benefits of using its award winning Open Debate system for community engagement


activities during the planning and build phases. Elma has a strong background in account management and business development which she gained while working with strategic corporate partnerships in the charity sector.


DANIEL BROWN


Having recently graduated from Liverpool University where he studied English Language


and Literature, Daniel will be assisting account managers with various aspects of their core


business, including advertising,


marketing and PR. He will also have particular responsibility for developing Consense’s use of social media in the consultation process.

MARK FOX With considerable experience in leading community consultation


programmes in the energy, property and residential sectors, Mark will be advising Consense clients on how best to


engage with various stakeholders and community groups and help them to fully understand how their proposals are perceived by the public. Mark will also be using the skills he has acquired over many years of negotiating the political landscape and engaging with politicians at all levels, to ensure they understand the benefits of developers’ proposals.

TAG ENERGY SOLUTIONS AWARDED ITS FIRST PROJECT


The Billingham-based company has been awarded a contract to produce a test pile by Wilton Engineering Group, which will be utilised in trial fitting of clamps for DONG Energy’s Siri field in the Danish North Sea.


The project marks the commencement of rolling and welding of large diameter tubulars at the facility, which has been created to serve the offshore energy sectors.


Featuring more than £8 million worth of state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, the 6,920 square metre production facility operates a fully- automated manufacturing system to roll and weld large diameter tubulars used in the construction of offshore wind turbine jacket and monopile foundations.


The facility has the capacity to produce 100,000 Tonnes of tubulars per annum and will focus on supporting developments in the offshore wind sector.


Alex Dawson, Chief Executive of TAG Energy Solutions, said: “This is a key milestone in the development of TAG Energy Solution’s state-of-the-art Renewables facility.


“We are very pleased that one of our closest neighbours has been the first to recognise the capability of the facility and the quality of the workmanship. Whilst this is a small project it is a significant step in the establishment of high quality production manufacturing for TAG ES on the River Tees.”
