elcome to the May issue of A1 Retail!
What an amazing month it has been for the retail sector. The VM and Display Show was a huge success for us and we enjoyed a busy few days at our stand. Thank you to everyone who popped over to say hi and a big welcome to our new readers we met at the show! We have put together a review of the show on page 38.
With our finger firmly still on the retail technology pulse (following the fantastic RBTE show in March), we have put together a feature about how this area of retail has evolved over the last few years and we take a look at example projects where the use of technology has changed a store. Following on from this, we also have an interesting view from Barry Cox at Toshiba TEC about how technology is driving the in‐store experience.
This issue is a very exciting one as we have an article from Steve Thomas‐Emberson and daughter Lydia about brand behaviour amongst teenagers with some ground‐breaking results from a recent questionnaire Lydia distributed to six schools. It's a must read article!
We have our question and answer session this month with Sarah Pavlou, Founder of International Women in Business and we walk through a day in the life of Joe Colopy, CEO and founder of Bronto Software.
Meanwhile, here at A1 HQ, we are getting ready for a special awards evening we are in the finals for. We have our fingers firmly crossed for a win!
