Recognising that retailers are often working to tight budgets, COBA Europe has added Needlepunch options to its existing Pathmaster range of commercial entrance matting. They have been introduced as ‘Economy’ versions of COBA’s high performance PathMaster (Aluminium) and PathMaster Duo, without compromising on the key benefits of their established counterparts. PathMaster NP (with aluminium scraping strips) and PathMaster Duo NP (comprising alternating dual fibre strips) both feature a solid surface in order to prevent debris from falling through to the underside. Both options are supplied on flexible rolls for easy transportation and maneuverability. The rolls can be installed in recessed walls or adhered to the floor surface with optional edging. To ease the installation process, the PathMaster range can be cut to size and shape on site using a hand grinder or jigsaw. Getting the flooring right in a store is also critical to maintaining the overall look and keeping the area neat and tidy. Some retailers are now looking for a system with green credentials; maybe a surface that can be recycled or even a floor made from recycled products? The Surface Design Show in February had some fantastic exhibitors showcasing the newest and latest innovations in the world of surfaces. There was something for everyone and we are looking forward to seeing these new innovations implemented into stores across 2013!
