VM and Display Review
“As Lucky Fox were newcomers to the VM & Display Show, we wanted to make sure we generated a buzz around our very first stand and give the regular visitors to the Business Design Centre something to get as excited about as we were to be showing. We saw the show as a great opportunity for Lucky Fox to catch up with suppliers and clients old and new. The organisers of the event couldn't have been more supportive and the response we had was so good that we signed up for 2014 as soon as we had the chance.
The location we managed to secure was a fantastic stroke of luck, as we needed the space on ground floor to be able to show our awesome Lucky Fox ice cream van – which was getting loads of interest from the other exhibitors before the show even started!” Jason Traves, Head of Creative Design, Lucky Fox
for the
Feast Eyes….
From 16th to 18th April 2013, the Business Design Centre in Islington was transformed into a feast for the eyes with everything from mannequins to wallcoverings. We talk to some of our fellow exhibitors from this hugely successful event….
“We felt the show is always very focused with a relaxed atmosphere for both visitors and exhibitors. It was really good to have some quality conversations with some big Retail Brands both from UK and Europe who were happy to come back if they could see we were busy with another customer. The venue is perfect and despite the Funeral on Wednesday that could have put visitors off due to the disruption on the roads we found it to be the busiest day, but all days were busy enough for one person on a stand. It was also a good networking opportunity to discuss how the Retail industry as a whole is bearing up under the current Economic conditions and the general feeling is that budgets are still very tight but Retailers are spending money just not as often or as much as they have in the past. In summary ‐ good show and good to be part of it.”

“Having exhibited at the VM & Display show for 6 years this year was by far the most outstanding. With the new show branding and an enhanced marketing campaign there was a real buzz about the place. Visitor numbers felt good & the quality of those visiting was exceptionally high. Everybody I spoke to was excited & we found visitors were keen this year to spend time looking infact many spending a day there to really optimise the experience! We got a great response to our vibrant butterfly wall and look forward to exhibiting again next year!”

“This year’s VM & Display allowed visitors to keep up to date on all things Visual Merchandising and Display, embrace the trends within the industry and draw inspiration to use in their day to day roles. With so many retailers attending, for exhibitors it was an opportunity to show case their talents and catch their eyes, and they certainly did that, with some amazing stands and displays all standing out in their own unique way. For Straco International it was a great opportunity to meet new and existing clients and candidates, together with keeping up with the trends and the Visual Merchandising and display industry.”
