High-end AV processors launched

Analog Way

A new generation of high-end AV processors is being launched by Analog Way as a world premiere during ISE 2013, based on the company’s new LiveCore platform. The first two products of the new range, are the NeXtage 16 and the SmartMatriX Ultra. These products are the result of a corporate project begun in 2009. “The design of the LiveCore plat- form was the biggest R&D project ever undertaken by the company so far,” said CEO Adrien Corso. NeXtage 16 is a seamless

switcher for demanding live events. Equipped with 16 scalers, eight inputs and two outputs, it offers 28 input plugs: four HDMI, six DVI-D, two DisplayPort, eight 3G-SDI and eight Universal Analogue. Four independent true seamless layers per output are included, as well as an independent native background layer for soft edge blending. SmartMatriX Ultra is a high-end 12x4 scaled native matrix with a rugged design for durability. It offers versatile AV connections for any set-up through 42 input plugs: six HDMI, nine DVI-D, three DisplayPort, 12 3G-SDI and 12 Universal Analogue. Two units can be linked to create a 24x8 scaled seamless matrix.

Both products can be controlled via the internet or the front panel using the new web-based remote control software. Stand: 11-F58

Queueing partners wanted CONTENTS Q-Better

On the lookout at ISE 2013 for partners to help it bring its offer- ing to new markets is Q-Better, which manufactures products for queue management. Q-Better customers include Pixmania (Portugal and Spain), Nokia, McDonald’s, Continental and Pingo Doce. The company says that its soft-

ware is so intuitive – whether for digital signage or queue manage- ment – that anybody in any

organisation can use it. Scalabil- ity is claimed to be another strong point of the Q-Better Net- work, allowing remote manage- ment of a single shop or thousands.

Q-Better says that it will only appoint one partner/distributor

in each country. It does not require a minimum sales amount per year, but looks to its partners to help in the translation of soft- ware into their own language and to organise several workshops and training sessions. Stand: 10-Q114

Challenge launched at ISE Ashton Bentley

One of the most important design features of Ashton Bentley products is the fact that a complete system can be delivered to site in a few boxes, built without tools and made operational within minutes. To highlight this, the company has created the Ashton Bentley Chal- lenge. Two teams of two will com-

with additional titles to be added on a quarterly basis, the collection will be supplemented by exclusive video commentary in which Maltin shares his thoughts, per- sonal anecdotes and behind-the- scenes information about each movie.

Michael Malcolm, Kalei-

descape’s chairman, founder and CEO, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Mr Maltin; his insightful commentary will help our customers discover and appre- ciate these lesser known films.” Stand: 1-N41
