Arrow Electronics – Stand A02

Recolight – Stand D9

Arrow is showcasing an application platform that enables the design of complete LED lighting solutions in a convenient online environment. Free of charge and easy to use, Arrow Lighting Designer combines multiple tools for selecting and optimising LED solutions, adding secondary optics, defining the power supply and laying out a design. Each tool can be used independently or in tandem to develop a comprehensive solution. In addition to product and system data, the tool offers ‘recommended’, ‘highest efficacy’ and ‘least expensive’ system options. After selecting an option, users can see suggested alternatives and return on investment for transitioning from traditional lighting. www.arroweurope.com

Recolight is a UK specialist WEEE compliance scheme for the recycling of Gas Discharge Lamps. Funded by over 100 lamp producer members, it represents an overwhelming proportion of lamps put on the UK market. As a notforprofit scheme, dedicated to keeping lamps out of landfill, Recolight collects all lamps regardless of manufacturer and can do so free of charge, providing there is a sufficient quantity. In the last three years, Recolight funded the recycling of over 125 million lamps, preventing more than a third of a tonne of mercury from entering landfill. www.recolight.co.uk
