Amari Plastics launches 'Essentials Range'

Specifiers in the commercial and other sectors as well as homeowners are making more use of PVC cladding products as tastes change, while trust in the systems available grows.

Responding to this trend in the market, Amari Plastics has launched a new collection of profiles and accessories to suit a very wide range of applications.

The move is seen as reinforcing Amari’s presence in the marketplace where it is one of the very few national stockists of such products, serving the industrial plastics and signage industries, as well as construction and retail customers.

The Product Development Manager for Amari Plastics, Jamie Manifold, recounts: “Amari Plastics has been involved with the supply of exterior and interior cladding products for 25 years. Now though, the Essentials Range as we have named it will provide solutions for a wide range of situations, though each of our depot managers has always been free to tailor the selection stocked to suit their client base and the area.

“It is a comprehensive range of products that we have drawn together to let cladding installers and specifiers or end customers know we are serious about the sector.

“As a product group, PVC cladding has not only improved in terms of its performance and sustainability credentials, but it is more affordable than aluminium and some other alternatives; all of which

make it more attractive to customers. I believe the Essentials Range will help us compete with the biggest players in the market; and we will be backing it up later in the year with the launch of our Design Range.”

“As a product group, PVC

cladding has not only improved in terms of its performance and sustainability credentials, but it is more affordable than aluminium and some other alternatives; all of which make it more attractive to customers.”

Essentials is a comprehensive range that provides products that are easy to fit and work with; that are impervious and easy to clean; are non absorbent, washable and meet all relevant health & safety and food hygiene regulations. From the top of the range Stericlad anti-microbial

cladding sheet to the basic Aalcodur rigid PVC sheet, Essentials offers a solution for all sizes of budget.

The flagship of the Essentials collection is the wall cladding sheet EC-Clad; manufactured by one of the world’s leading PVC sheet manufacturers, Rochling GMbH, it is renowned for its consistently high quality and smooth surface that inhibits bacterial growth.

Amariʼs hygienic PVC interior cladding sheet, EC-Clad, is ideal for covering relatively even walls and conforms with

DIN EN ISO 1163 and 11833 - 1. The extruded PVC has excellent chemical resistance and fire rating (class 1 BS476 part 7), which enhances the safety performance.

EC-Clad is odourless and non-toxic, containing no plasticisers or fillers. It is characterised by high rigidity and impact strength, very good electrical insulation properties, high chemical resistance and low flammability. Waterproof and durable, EC-Clad stands up well to repeated cleaning and offers good abrasion resistance.

The sheets, meanwhile, are easy to fit and work around internal and external corners. They can be easily worked - cut, glued, drilled, formed and bent.

Essentials further includes a complimentary range of PVC profiles for edge trimming the sheets, as well as silicones, adhesives, tapes, ceiling planks and thicker cladding sheets for damaged walls.
