Ben 10 will see an all-new look for 2012 with a new packaging style guide, which brings together products from all the series. The toy line will include new items from Ultimate Alien and refreshed assortments of the core figures, vehicles and role-play lines as well as the re-introduction key products from the original series. Also being released are low-priced mini figures which will be packaged in blind foil bags. Series one includes 16 figures. Additional series will be launched throughout the year. Vivid is launching two new collectable concepts in January across boys and tween girl categories. Lumi allows tween girls to express themselves through a collection of light-up charm fashion jewellery items for £6.99. The range will also bring an on-trend Status-Band Watch for on-the-go style changing. For boys, Gyro-Botz are zero-gravity battling warriors that boys can bounce, spin and battle against friends. There are 12 customisable Gyro-Botz to collect from launch. Both Lumi and Gyro-Botz will be


supported with a fully integrated social media campaign, TV advertising and in store display units. Vivid will launch a full pre-school toy


line for Baby Jake, including puzzles, games, role-play and plush along with the new TV promoted Talking Baby Jake and the Bumpety Bump Tractor starting from February. Everything’s Rosie continues to rank in the top CBeebies shows and the recent toy launch continues into spring with new product introductions including 3-in-1 Projector, Friendship Bracelets, collectable figures and TV promoted Playground Play-set. Also performing well on CBeebies is Little Charley Bear and the toy line will see the launch of new pocket money price points across Push Alongs, collectable figures and new character plush introductions fully supported with TV from February. Animagic is now Vivid’s largest brand worldwide and new introductions for spring include Princess Pets and Sleeptytime Pets, both of which will be TV advertised along with Fluffy Go Walkies, new friend Cassy Goes Catwalk, Sunny and Benji starting from February. Collectable Animagic Cuties will launch for Easter across pencil toppers, erasers and a collector tin, for £1.99. Vivid has enjoyed success with collectable boy band dolls and tween girls will now be able to collect all boy band heart throbs in miniature too with Celebz. The lifelike miniature line will start with idols across the most popular boy bands in town. Mini members of JLS, 1 Direction and The Wanted will sell at

£4.99 and will be supported with TV advertising from February. The Wanted will also be immortalised into 12-inch Collector Dolls available from January. Vivid’s Moshi Monsters range is the number one new toy property in the market and the website continues to grow with over 50 million English- speaking players now online worldwide. A comprehensive new line will launch with assortments across blind bags, collector packs, jigsaws along with the innovative new Squashy Moshi’s retailing for around £2.49, TV promoted Moshi Super Seeds play-sets and the new Moshling Zoo where you can play and display your Moshlings collection. Crayola will be extended in spring with new fashion themes starting at around £6.99 and new innovative mouldable fabrics in the Glam Collection at around £12.99. New to the core Crayola range is Metallic Colour Wonder at £8.99. Lines will be supported by TV advertising at Easter. To coincide with Marvel’s The Amazing


Spider-man movie due in cinemas next July, Vivid will be launching a range under Klip Kitz focusing on mini collectables to be supported by TV advertising and PR starting summer ‘12.

H. Grossman is looking forward to 2012 with a new line of Doctor Who products, including the Tardis Tent. Just like the The Doctor’s Tardis, the tent has hidden depths – it opens out completely to reveal graphics that replicate the inside of the Tardis. The tent stands at 61” high and is 37” wide by 35” deep.

of Doctor Who is the Daleks and fans can re-create their own battles the new 5- foot Inflatable Dalek. To complete the inflatable range there is also an Inflatable Tardis. To complement the Doctor Who range,

The new reimagined series of ThunderCats launched on Cartoon Network in September, Bandai’s toy line includes 10cm figures that incorporate the magnetic powered Thunder-Lynx system which activate light or sound in the vehicles and play-sets throughout the range. Other figures include 15cm and collector figures


from the original ThunderCats series. The Thunder Racers and Lizard Cannon are new vehicles, which include a figure and cool function. The iconic Thundertank includes a Snarf figure and can be used with the 10cm figures to activate lights and phrases from the show. The deluxe Sword of Omens has extending blade, light-up Eye of Thundera and phrases from the show, including ‘Thundercats Hoooooooooo!’


New to the fashionable world of Harumika is Petite Harumika, a miniature version of the award winning dress form so young fans can design on the go and take their creations with them everywhere. Utilising the same wrap and fix technique, the 7cm dress form comes with one piece of material, four ribbons and gem decorations. There will be three styles to collect and girls will be able to attach their dress forms to bags or clothes. The Harumika range will also see spring refreshes to the introductory Starter Sets and the popular Designer Dress Form sets, with three new styles being released in each assortment.
