Channel celebrates legends!
The Comms National Awards
demonstrated all that is great about
the channel and a glittering event
put economic gloom to the back
of people’s minds for a night of
celebration.
Comic legend Ronnie Corbett was
the distinguished guest and stole the
show in his inimitable style but there
were of host of other ‘stars’on the
Contact Centre Solution of the Year, Enterprise Hosted Solution of the Year, Enterprise Unified Communications
night. Reseller Actimax took three
Vodafone Central (sponsored by Avaya) Spiritel (sponsored by Comms Solutions) Solution of the Year, Siptel (sponsored
awards including Reseller of the Year
by Nortel)
and Opal’s Andy Hollingworth was
voted the channel’s champion for
2009.
Guests also raised over £3,000 for
children’s charity sparks on the night.
“This awards evening is widely
recognised as the Premiership event
for the voice and data channel and
the quality and quantity of entries
we have again received this year
demonstrates its reputation and
prominence,” said chairman of
Enterprise Vertical Market Solution of the Green Solution of the Year, Fordway Managed Services Solution of the Year,
judges Paul Cunningham.

Winner Steve Rasmussen of Siptel
summed up the evening: “The Comms
