2014 SME Election Results S


ME recently announced its 2014 SME election results for the open international director and Member Council positions. The election, which began on Aug. 1 and ended on Sept. 1, gave SME members the opportunity to cast their votes online and through paper ballots. Six individuals were elected to the SME Board of Direc- tors, and four individuals were elected to the SME Member Council for the Jan. 2015 through Dec. 2016 term. ME is currently seeking nominations for its 2015 Class of SME Fellows. Since 1986, the SME College of Fellows has honored those members who have made outstanding contributions to the social, technological and educational aspects of the manufacturing profession. This is a highly prestigious honor that can only be earned through years (20 or more) of dedication and service. To nominate an SME member for this honor, please visit www.sme.org/fellows.
