components, medical devices, motor shafts and other small- diameter parts. Two models are available for processing either 6 or 12' (1.8, 3.6-m) bar stock. With an overall length of 11' (3.35 m) for the 6' bar model and 17' (5.18 m) for the 12' bar model, the Multi Mini Rhinobar’s compact size makes it suit- able for small or large shops. Lexair Inc.

Power Chuck Packages TMX Workholding’s power chuck packages are designed specifically to fit each machine from many of the top global machine tool manufacturers. This eliminates the need to procure various parts from different suppliers along with the worry of parts being compatible with one another. Each power chuck package has been designed and engineered with high-tensile drawtubes to maximize the through-bore capacity. Power chucks are balanced to eliminate excessive noise and vibration. In addition to standard packages, upsized options are available for customers with larger workholding needs. Spindle liner and part stop integration are also offered on an as-needed basis. Installation of packages can be completed by certified TMX Workholding installers. Toolmex Industrial Solutions/TMX Workholding Ph: 847-301-3700 Web site: www.tmxworkholding.com

Universal Milling System Walter’s new M4000 universal milling system improves production while reducing tooling costs. The system com- prises three different cutter bodies and four indexable inserts that can be employed in face milling, shoulder milling, and chamfering. The system is well-suited for all steel and cast iron materials, stainless steels, and difficult- to-cut materials. One insert can handle several different milling applications, reducing tool and storage costs. The flank faces on the four cut- ting edges of these versatile

inserts feature a wave profile that displays the geometry of the insert. The more waves that are visible, the more positive the geometry. M4000 inserts are coated with Tiger·tec Silver. The inserts have rake face markings to ensure accurate orienta- tion. Laser engraving allows all important information, such as

details about the tooling’s assembly parts and torque require- ments to be inscribed on even the smallest tool diameters. Walter USA LLC Ph: 800-945-5554 Web site: www.walter-tools.com/us

Rotary Broaching Tools

Rotary broaching tools allow customers to broach simul- taneous to other turning operations, eliminating removing the workpiece from the machine to perform a secondary operation. Typically, the full form can be created in seconds resulting in reduced manufacturing times for precision parts and maintaining tolerance of 0.0005" (0.013 mm) or better. Conventional methods are only able to broach through holes, while rotary broaching tools can produce ID forms in blind and through holes. Thousands of parts can be broached with one single broach tool depending on the application. Standard-sized square and hex broaches are available from stock. Custom shapes, sizes, cut lengths and overall lengths can be made in as little as one day. Rotary broaches can be
