CFA Joins in “Belt and Road” Industrial and Commercial Alliance 盟联Ѫ协商工ȑષ一٪一Ȑ盟加协铸З


Approved by the national “Belt and Road” Construc-


tion Work Leading Group Office, the China Federation of Industrial Economics has initiated and established the“Belt and Road” Industrial and Commercial Alliance, united with a number of influential industry and com- merce associations along the “Belt and Road” line. The founding ceremony of the Alliance was held


on June 16 in Beijing, attended by 22 industrial and commercial organizations, leaders of founding mem- bers, embassy officials, experts and scholars as well as nearly 100 representatives from the domestic industry and commerce organizations and enterprises. The Beijing Declaration and Action Plans for the Alliance have been announced during the ceremony. The “Belt and Road” Industrial Cooperation Think-tank, Cloud Platform, Global Investment and Acquisition Fund Alliance, Alliance’s China Council will be founded to fully promote the economic and commercial coopera- tion among “Belt and Road” nations. More industrial and commercial associations of


countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” (but not limited to this area) will be included in the alliance. With “open, inclusive, voluntary, negotiation, cooperation, win-win” as its principles, the alliance together with its think-tank, investment and cooperation cloud platform, global investment and acquisition fund alliance will form an industry collaborative linkage mode and cooperation network, set up an information platform, cooperation project reserve mechanism and docking services system to facilitate the alliance cooperation. Te aim is to provide services to members by gathering resources and jointly pushing forward the development of the “Belt and Road” to realize mutual benefit and win-win. ■

Successful Metal China 2016 Held in Beijing ਸ਼П重隆ц北֧Ѫ览博造铸际֡֡Зن֙十第


On May 17-20, the 14th China International Foundry Expo (Metal China 2016) was held in Beijing. 2016 is the first year of the 13th five-year plan, an important year for the transformation and upgrading of China’s foundry in- dustry. A lot of new technology, new products and orders from the world infused new vitality to this year’s session. Te total exhibition space reached 108,000m2 with 1,288 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions, as well as 83,013 visitors from more than 80 countries and regions in the world. “Low price” is not synonymous with Chinese cast-
