Te international exhibition and conference ALUCAST


has continuously evolved as “Te Platform for Aluminum Die Casting,” where latest trends and technologies are showcased. It is the ideal platform for companies to reach out to major target groups: automotive manufacturers, automotive component sup- pliers, machinery and plant manufacturers as well as production specialists, developers and buyers. Leading companies from more than 15 countries with over 100 exhibitors and more than 3,000 visitors marked the suc- cessful conclusion of the 6th edition of ALUCAST 2014 in Bangalore (December 2014). Encouraging feedback from exhibitors further reiterated the

Chinese Foundry Expands With Machinery From Omega Foundry Machinery Ltd.


Գ工建扩，ה੦՚ҷGMKS5аકЎѢ造铸֡З Tycon Alloys, Shenzhen, China, is a leading producer of high


grade steel valves and pumps and one of Omega’s first customers in China, having purchased its first mixer back in 1997. Since then, the metalcasting facility has continued to expand, and due to the current restrictive site, the company has decided to move to a new location approximately 200 km from its exist- ing location. Te new foundry will be a state of the art building encom- passing the latest environmental and sustainable technology, including a thermal reclamation plant for alkaline phenolic sand, which is believed to be the first installation of this process in China.


Te plant also will have a semi-automatic fast loop molding line,


automated pouring and cooling lines, and a floor molding area. Te foundry is expected to come into production by the end
