Wisconsin Company Expanding Facility to Increase Efficiency 率效高提，ۑԳ建扩Գ造铸一辛ڈ斯威
Fall River Group, Fall River, Wisconsin, U.S., announced
it will be constructing a 60,000 sq.-ft. addition to the Fall River Foundry facility in Fall River. Te company’s machin- ing operations currently in Milwaukee will be re-located to the addition. According to a news release, “the move is targeted to
increase the group’s overall efficiency and to provide for further growth along with an increased ability to meet cus- tomer expectations.” “Our main goal for this whole process is to become more efficient as a company,” Executive Vice President John Vick told the Columbus Journal. In a release, the company said this will help them “con-
tinue providing this machining service and increase their competitive advantage in an ever changing marketplace.” A line of concrete finishing tools Fall River Group pro- duces also will be manufactured at the facility. According to local reports, construction is expected to begin in May. An addition will also be made to the front of the office. “Tat’s what you’ll see building first,” Brennen Wiegel, CEO and presi- dent, Fall River Group, told the Journal. ■

KSPG Books Order for CastDiesel Piston Modules Worth More Than €30 million
Auto-component supplier KSPG AG, a member of the Rheinmetall Group, through its KS Kolbenschmidt GmbH subsidiary, has booked a new order for cast piston modules with a lifetime volume worth around €32.5 million. Te contract was awarded by a major American auto manufac- turer who will install the modules into three-cylinder diesel engines built at its European plants. Starting in 2019, the pistons will be manufactured at KS Kolbenschmidt’s Czech plant in Ústínad Labem. Te pistons will be delivered complete with assembled rings
and pins. Te contract once again emphasizes KS Kolben- schmidt’s piston-module competence. Te pistons with ring carrier and coolant passage will have a Nanofriks coating.■
