From July 12-14 2016, the 11th China International Die Casting Conference and Exhibition (CHINA DI- ECASTING 2016), held in Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), is expecting another big success with its remarkable highlights. As the only exhibition focusing on displaying the en-
tire diecasting supply chain in China, China Diecasting 2016 will cover 23,000 sq. m in two halls in SNIEC this year, which is a 33% increase over 2015. China Diecasting is well accepted by most of
the international diecasting players to develop their business in China. With around 35% international participation, the leading brand names can be easily found from the platform. The accompanying “China International Die Cast-
ing Conference” is also recognized as the leading tech- nical conference in Chinese diecasting market. This year, the conference will be held July 10-11, containing five main sessions. ■

Foundry Star Alliance Holds First International Forum on Advanced Light Metal Applications in the Automotive Industry

International Forum on “Advanced Light Metal Ap- plications in the Automotive Industry” at a winery close to Brescia/Italy. On behalf of the Foundry Star Alliance (FSA) Companies, Ferrario was proud of the fact that 170 participants from more than 50 top international found- ries attended. Te professional program began with the requirements of big OEMs like BMW, Daimler, FAW, FCA, JLR and Tesla, and lectures were carried out from important Tier 1 companies, alloy producers, aluminum experts and a range of foundry equipment suppliers and associations.
