More Snorkels for Dromad
Dromad Hire of Dundalk placed an order at the Show for 15 additional S3010E compact scissor lifts from Snorkel UK. MD Seamus Byrne, left, confirmed the deal with Snorkel’s Andrew Fishburn on the company’s stand. The S3010E has a 5m working height and can lift one person plus tools with a maximum capacity of 227kg. “We are delighted to be able to offer a self-propelled, compact and lightweight machine to our
customers,” said Seamus Byrne. “We have been running
Snorkels in our fleet now for some time, so the brand is already proven to us.”
Toga wins Hire Network Award
Toga Hire Centres’ Bow depot was announced as the Winner of the Hire Network Award during the Show. The annual trophy is presented to an individual outlet to recognise outstanding levels of service. The Award was accepted by Toga’s Stuart Gould, left, from The Hire
Network’s Kevin Sherwood, who told EHN, “We deal with hundreds of hire companies throughout the country and we appreciate the excellent service they provide. The Award takes into account the quality of management at the depot, the efficiency of hire controllers, drivers and other personnel, the resolution of on-site issues that may arise, and the way in which invoices and other paperwork are handled.” The Runners-up were STS Access based near Reading, and the Birmingham depot of Hireforce.
