First Choice Group’s stock on the rise


A


lready boasting one of the l argest and widest range of c atering spares stock in the


U K, First Choice Group has unveiled p lans to give its customers even more.


The company’s recent move to new purpose built 100,000sqft premises h as set plans in motion for increasing its stock levels by 30%.


A s the UK’s largest stock holder of commercial catering spares, First Choice Group currently houses more than 24,000 stock lines, valued at £3.7m. This is now set to increase to 31,000 lines, valued at £6.5m. M anaging director, John


W hitehouse, said ambitions to grow the business in this way are geared towards maximising the support First Choice customers get so they receive an even better service.


Mr Whitehouse commented: “This is all about giving the customer more. In line with our recent transformation, customers will r eceive a higher level of support in order to reduce waiting times and make it easier for them to get the parts they need.


“Customers will feel the benefit in their pockets too because not only will this save them time, but it will also save them money.


“Around 70% of the orders we receive are delivered directly from the stock in our warehouse. However, with this massive improvement in our s tock capacity, we will take this figure t o well over 90%.”
