COMPANY PROFILE

Communication and expertise lead the way

P

ACAIR was founded in 2003 by Nigel Palmer, starting life as Palmer Air Conditioning.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2013 was a real milestone in the company’s history and marked it as a firmly established player in the air conditioning market.

PACAIR has a proven record in providing multi-disciplinary air conditioning solutions attained through years of excellence in the design, application and supply of air conditioning systems.

While its head office is based in Hemel Hempstead, the company also has a second office, PACAIR North West, which is based in Wigan and the turnover of the company as a whole is £7m.

PACAIR employs 16 Staff across its offices with a combined industry experience in excess of 150 years who are all dedicated to maintaining their knowledge of current regulations, new procurement routes and innovative products.

As an air conditioning supplier, PACAIR has successfully evolved its range of expertise through continual development and improvement, keeping itself at the forefront of the industry.

The company’s reputation has been built on close customer liaison and a strong eye for detail. Communication is paramount throughout a project’s development from the early stages of conception right through to final completion and beyond.

PACAIR prides itself in treating each project as a unique proposition deserving of the company’s full attention, rather than just another job, and endeavours to ensure that each and every client is happy with its services.

Working closely with its clients, PACAIR strives to understand their needs, enabling them to design practical bespoke solutions and to provide the advice and technical support that delivers a complete cradle-to-grave solution for customers.

PACAIR has been a distributor for LGE products for the last few years and will be heavily involved in the launch of its new Multi VS mini heat recovery outdoor in the Autumn. A factory visit to Korea with consultants took place earlier in 2017 to see the unit in production and further strengthen the relationships of the two companies.

PACAIR is also a VAR ‘Value Added Reseller’ for Mitsubishi Electric and have partnered with the brand for a number of years. Toshiba also features heavily in the PACAIR portfolio and completes their coverage of market leading and energy efficient products and solutions. PACAIR’s long term plan is to keep influencing sales with specifiers, as well as design and build contractors, using its three core product ranges with LGE, Mitsubishi Electric and Toshiba. With this in mind, the company anticipates continued growth and expansion. The next phase is a new office in Birmingham, which is planned to open in September 2017.

Nigel Palmer Managing director

Founder of PACAIR, Nigel is responsible for all commercial aspects of the company, client liaison and all

round support of the team and clients. He has 10 years contracts and 22 years sales and commercial implementation of management systems experience.

Robin Clark Sales director

Robin has well over 30 years in both manufacturing and distribution, previously holding senior positions with Myson, Qualitair, BAC, HRP and Toshiba.
