Peter Chow reveals what it’s like to be a ChipsAway franchisee

rior to becoming a franchisee, Peter Chow ran bars and nightclubs in London for 10 years. Fed up of working unsociable hours, Peter wanted to run his own business which he could expand and make very profi table, so ChipsAway, part of Franchise Brands plc, seemed like the ideal option. “I wanted to start my own business for a long time,” he says. “I have always had a keen interest in cars, so naturally ChipsAway seemed like a good fi t. “I researched a lot of franchises online, but ChipsAway was the market leader and by far the best. The initial training runs for four weeks full-time then an additional week after three months. You also receive extensive and ongoing support in anything else you need – all you need to do is ask! The marketing campaigns and the TV exposure that a franchisor like Franchise Brands plc can give you is unmatched, and is not something you could achieve on your own. In the future I would love to expand
the business into a workshop and a Car Care Centre.”
