148. No other significant construction activity is predicted to be carried out in close proximity of the onshore cable route and converter station. Therefore no significant cumulative impacts are predicted.
28.8.10 Transboundary Impacts 149. No transboundary tourism and recreation impacts are anticipated. 28.8.11 Tourism and Recreation Summary
150. No significant tourism and recreation impacts are predicted as a result of the proposed East Anglia THREE project, and its associated offshore and onshore electrical infrastructure. Tourism and recreation receptors will experience minimal visual impacts and only temporary physical obstruction, noise and traffic impacts.
28.9 Next steps
151. Building from this initial assessment the following steps will be undertaken in the next phase of socio-economic and tourism and recreation analysis:
Detailed estimates of the economic impact of the construction, operation and decommissioning phases of both the onshore and offshore elements of the proposed East Anglia THREE project. Areas such as job creation, skills and training and productivity and GVA will be examined;
Labour market absorption assessment; and Cumulative socio-economic and tourism and recreation impact assessment.
152. This assessment will be presented in the final ES for the proposed East Anglia THREE project.
