135. The decommissioning methodology would need to be finalised nearer to the end of the lifetime of the project so as to be in line with current guidance, policy and legislation at that point. Any such methodology would be agreed with the relevant authorities and statutory consultees.


28.8.6 Cumulative Impact 136. A cumulative assessment will be undertaken by East Anglia THREE limited as part of the final ES. The projects to be taken into account in the cumulative assessment will be agreed with the relevant local authorities.


28.8.7 Socio-economic Summary 137. Table 28.13 summarises the likely socio-economic effects associated with the onshore element of the proposed development during the construction phase. The effects have been assessed to be of minor positive significance. No adverse socio- economic impacts or effects are predicted by the assessment.

138. This section introduces the impacts associated with the proposed East Anglia THREE project whichmay potentially affect the local tourism and recreation economy. The full impacts assessment will be made in the final ES.


28.8.8.1 Offshore 139. During construction the following potential impacts will be assessed:


 Visual impacts experienced during the construction phase of marine construction traffic would only be transient and temporary in nature as confirmed in Chapter 29 Seascape, Landscape and Visual Amenity. They are therefore unlikely to be considered significant in tourism terms.
