221. A moderate adverse impact was predicted at the local level for the construction and operation of the onshore converter station, since it would result in permanent land take.


222. The potential effects arising from electromagnetic fields of the cables during operation were considered, and the embedded mitigation within the design of the cables and cable installation process are considered to reduce any potential impacts to negligible.


223. No impacts during operation were considered to result in more than a minor adverse impact.


224. Impacts for decommissioning were predicted to be similar to construction in the absence of further information on the likely process of decommissioning at this time.
