Healthcare Estates Virtues of valve versatility
Actuator and valve technology specialist, Belimo, offers ‘a complete range of cost-effective, quality products from one source’, with a five-year warranty on its entire range.
Selected products shown will include: n The award-winning Belimo Energy Valve, which combines five functions: measuring, controlling, hydraulic balancing, air bubble tight closing, and showing where energy is
consumed. The consumption values can be called up at any time and are saved for 13 months. ‘Unique functions’ such as the Delta-T manager, and the option for direct power control, ‘provide clarity, increase efficiency, and cut costs’.
n Globe Valve retrofit solutions – ‘made simple’ with the Belimo Retrofit Globe Valve Actuator, equipped with a universal neck and valve stem adaptor, and ‘suitable for use with most valves from many

Belimo’s range for fire and smoke applications includes ‘new generation’ fire damper actuators with Safety Position Lock BFL and BFN. This ‘new and patented solution’ – supplied as standard – holds the fire dampers reliably in the safety position in the event of fire.
Five-day ‘express service’ furniture
Beaver Healthcare Furniture, the provider of hospital furniture and equipment, has significantly expanded its ‘five-day express service’. The company, which supplies acute
NHS Trusts and private hospitals throughout the UK, was reportedly the country’s first to launch ‘a five-day range’, and says it boasts ‘the most comprehensive choice of products’. It said: “With hospitals gearing up for the peak winter season, being able to source furniture quickly gives teams peace of mind.
